AA.-GALAPAGOS ISLANDS, ECUADOR, SOUTH AMERICA. Everything you need to know for a private international corporate general aviation flight over the airports of the Galapagos Islands: There are 3 airports on the islands for use by international private general aviation, BALTRA/SEGS AIRPORT/Seymour Island (small island that was a base for the United States in World War II) Hours of operation is HJ(Sunrise and sunset) SLOT applies in the morning and afternoon due to commercial airline traffic. SEGS: Parking request 48 hours in advance of the arrival of the international private flight to the operator of the concessioned airport, called ECOGAL.S.A. SEGS: There are only two parking positions according to the size of the aircraft: BB: It´s not possible to fly direct into SEGS, Government requirements states that any operation coming into SEGS must land first in an International Ecuador Airport (SEGU, SEQM) for Immigration, Customs, Disinfecting and Inspection process of the aircraft and luggage, which usually takes up to two hours. CC: The SEGS operating hours are: In the morning from 1330 UTC to 1530 UTC / In the afternoon from 1830 UTC to 2130 UTC DD: Please advise in advance if the aircraft will need to remain overnight at SEGS because we will have to coordinate with the airport authorities to book a parking slot for your aircraft.Only there is two space for parking up to GULF-5/GLEX. SEST: San Cristobal/SEST has 03 spaces.for parking up to GULF-650. SEII: Isabela/SEII has one space up to FA-20. PARKING NOTICE: Parking is extremely limited, and as a rule is not allowed unless approved in advance. 1.-Baltra has 02 (GULF-5 size aircraft). Normal CIQ procedures, and specific procedures required for Galapagos flights. 2.-San Cristóbal has 03 parking stands (up to G650 size aircraft), Parking restrictions apply due to high demand for space. Male, Maldives is expected to register international traffic to & from India of 0.7 million passengers in 2023.. The international airport accounts for 1.1% of all international traffic to & from India. A total of 5 airports in India are connected by a direct flight. Mckinsey & Co in their latest report on Indian tourists identified UAE as India's top outbound tourism country through the last decade. Interestingly, the US which is 2nd on the list sees a major contribution of Indian tourists flying via Dubai on Emirates Airlines. The large transit segment poses massive opportunities for us ahead and one that we will continue to focus on. #VisitDubai #StopoverDubai

Numbers: Goan tourism is set for a big booster June ’24 onwards. As per Goan Govt estimates, the state welcomed ~1.5cr tourists in 2023. That’s an avg of ~41k a day. And come June, this number will go up by almost 6k! Almost 15% jump. .. But how? Infrastructure expansion. Last year, Goa witnessed the opening of Mopa airport, a massive and beautiful new terminal. At launch, it had a capacity to handle 4.4mn passengers a year. And while the airport was opened then, an expansion was already under way. And the expansion will be completed and commercialised in June this year. .. So what? Well, when expansion will be complete, annual capacity will go up to 8mn. And based on present demand trends, the airport operator GMR estimates that the number of daily arrivals (avg) at Mopa will go up from 15k to 21k. And that’s how we get additional 6k passengers. .. But wait, just expanding airport capacity will bring in more passengers? No. The thing is, demand from multiple new routes is really high, but there is a paucity of infra to support more flights. And the expanded Mopa airport will make room for that. .. Like, Qatar Airways has already announced that it will launch direct flights between Doha and Goa, once the expansion at the airport is completed. The launch of multiple such new routes to Goa will bring in more tourists. .. And what will they bring with them? More occupancy for hotels, more money for locals, restaurants, rental vehicle providers, shacks, and so so many more small and big businesses. And of course, more jobs for Goans! SriLankan Airlines has significantly improved travel options for passengers between Colombo and Mumbai by introducing two additional daily flights. This move not only boosts SriLankan’s capacity on the Mumbai route by 50% but also strengthens the airline’s extensive network in India. The new flight schedule includes daily departures from Mumbai to Colombo at 3:10 and 20:45 hours by flights UL 142 and UL 144, respectively. Flights UL 141 and UL 143 will depart from Colombo to Mumbai at 23:45 and 17:10, respectively. This expansion not only provides more flexibility for travellers on the Colombo-Mumbai route but also opens up seamless connections through Colombo to popular destinations in the Far East, Europe, and Australia. The flights that will take you to visa-free Malaysia Malaysia, in a surprising announcement, decided to offer visa free travel to Indians, along with Chinese nationals. While Indian tourists are back significantly, the same is not the case with Chinese and both have not yet reached pre-COVID levels. India is the fifth largest source market for Malaysia. Malaysia has always been tourist friendly and the process to obtain a tourist visa has been a simple one. The costs have not been prohibitive either. A visa free announcement triggers interest from tourists and an itch to club the destination along with a trip to neighboring countries. Which flights connect you to Malaysia? Malaysia is one of the handful countries where the Malaysian side has exhausted its rights to India and Indian carriers have very poor utilization. At present, there is just one daily flight operated by an Indian carrier.
