August was not just about numbers or checkboxes, but a profound exploration of the multifaceted roles I could play. Receiving the 'Employee of the Month' honor at Huspy was both unexpected and deeply touching. Having ventured into my own companies before, I embraced its challenges and thrived in its unpredictability. Yet, I never imagined finding a place like my actual company where my experience as an entrepreneur would be recognized and where I'd have the freedom to engage across diverse domains. A special nod to my man, David Rodrigo. Building the website with you was a memorable (and super funny) endeavor, blending creativity with strategy. And to Francisco Mascolo, my B2B colleague, your insights and collaboration have been invaluable. Together, we've woven a tapestry of ideas and solutions that I believe are just the beginning of our joint successes. Federico Muñoz, your trust and the platform you've provided have been pivotal in my journey here. Leadership, under your helm, is not just about guidance, but about fostering growth and lighting the way. And that when they tell friends or family that they own the company, they sometimes hear: "okayyyy.... but who REALLY owns the company?" Katherine Lymn, Graciela O'Gorman, Trinity Alexander and their colleagues at The Improve Group are the perfect new owners of the company. As employee-owners, they will get to see their own ideas and efforts pay off in the value of the company they own. They'll get to carry on the legacies from The Improve Group's beginnings that still fit, while continuing to adapt the culture to the current team and environment. And, employee-ownership has the potential to be a meaningful tool for equity, as described in an HBR article. What have been some of the coolest, or your favorite changes Q-PAC has gone through during your time with the company?  My experiences with this inspiring company have been mind-boggling. Q-PAC is in a league of its own. They recognize hard work and reward those who do their hardest to help the company grow. They treat their employees with dignity and give us opportunities to get to know each other better with “out of offices days”. Which is one of the coolest things I’ve ever participated in with a company. We get to pick events like, Jet skis, fishing trips, Fork’s, and Cork’s, and swimming with the Dolphins just to name a few. They don’t hold anything back. They keep their employees informed about what the company is doing, where we are heading, and even their financial data and to reward us for our hard work they give everyone equal quarterly profit shares. Best of all everyone gets the last week of December off. How amazing is that! I have a lot of respect for this company they show a lot of heart. In return, I will always do my best to help them succeed.     2. If you could go on any trip/vacation, money is no object, what trip would you take? 🛫 🛬 Overseas of course. My grandfather came to the US from Portugal. 🇵🇹 I would love to go over there and see some relatives I have never met. Then on the way back, I would have to stop in Ireland 🇮🇪 for a couple days to visit family from my mother’s side and see how beautiful it really is over there.” Bucket List”    Dave, you are a rockstar.
