Reflecting on the past few weeks, I've had the pleasure of engaging with so many AMLAW 100, Fortune 500, and litigation boutique clients in DC, New Jersey, Philly, NYC, and London. It’s been incredible to hear how much value they get from our products and services and for them to share how we can help them even more. I also got together with groups of colleagues across DISCO for a coffee meet-up in Washington, a high energy spin class in London, and a hot morning run with the DISCO Run Club at HQ in Austin. The more time I spend with our customers and teams, the more I am excited for what is next!

What a great first week at DISCO! I loved getting the chance to connect with the team and several of our clients this past week in NYC. Each client meeting reinforced the value we deliver and the incredible opportunities ahead. Members of the New York team and I laced up for a 5K run in Central Park bright and early one morning. Over the next several weeks, I'll be spending quite a bit of time in our Austin HQ (and enjoying some Texas barbecue), visiting India to spend time with the DISCO team members in our Delhi office, and meeting many of our customers, partners, and team members. I appreciate the warm welcome I've received from everyone, and I'm excited for what we are going to build together while making law work better! #LawBetter

I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as CEO and Board Director at DISCO!

I have two very exciting updates: 1)    I am beyond thrilled to share that I will be assuming the role of CEO at DISCO as of April 29th. Much more on that in a minute. 2)    In my 30+ years in the software industry, this is the first time that I have deliberately set aside significant time to focus on my family and me. It has been an incredibly special and rewarding couple of months…from traveling to Florida to watch Juliana (14) play soccer, to Heli-skiing with Eli (13) in Silverton, CO, Hiking in Boulder with Jake (10), date night with Jessica Friedrichsen (more than once, even!), and lunch-date with Mom at her favorite French restaurant…I will cherish these moments forever. Those of you who know me well know how much I love to develop teams who build businesses that add real value to customers and to society. With DISCO, I have found the perfect match. The legal industry stands at the cusp of transformation, driven by advancements in AI. DISCO, has not been merely envisioning this change; but pioneering it. For the past decade, DISCO has been instrumental in empowering law firms and legal teams with technology to drive better legal outcomes. As we venture into the next phase of tech adoption, marked by the era of generative AI, I am honored to lead this charge alongside our incredible employees, clients, and partners. With a robust base of over 1,400 loyal customers and a track record of delivering exceptional products and services, together with our dedicated team, I am confident DISCO will achieve remarkable outcomes for our clients. I’m taking the next two weeks to be with my family before diving into this role on April 29th.
