I want to congratulate the fantastic first Enterprising Ventures of Color cohort from Flint, MI, on their outstanding accomplishments over the last 18 months. Together, this group increased their annual budgets by 20% and innovated individual donor campaigns while securing catalytic multi-year state-level funding. Notably, one member was elected to the city council, showcasing their capacity to respond to political issues and influence decision-makers. Moreover, this cohort excelled in collaborating to launch new partnerships to improve youth and family outcomes while bringing in new philanthropic investments. A job well done to the entire cohort!
