DOE’s Office of the Under Secretary for Infrastructure is pleased to announce that Leslie Biddle will serve as the first Deputy Under Secretary for Commercialization and Finance.  Leslie previously served as a senior advisor to the Under Secretary for Infrastructure since January 2023 with a focus on commercialization, market adoption, and catalyzing private sector financing of the clean energy transition. In her new role, Leslie will continue spearheading efforts to turn billions of federal funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and Inflation Reduction Act into trillions in private sector investment, as well as leverage her extensive private sector leadership experience and financial expertise across the full range of BIL and IRA activities and objectives.
