Last week, two of our talented NPD team members, Georgina Mogridge ANutr (Née Howes) (Head of Dairy) and Sharron Allen (NPD Manager), had the honour of being invited to the International Cheese & Dairy Awards in Staffordshire, serving as judges across various cheese and dairy categories alongside others from within the cheese and retail industry.
Our team thoroughly enjoyed sampling a fantastic range of cheeses, butters, yoghurts, creams, and more. The event was not only a feast for the senses but also an incredible learning opportunity, allowing us to deepen our understanding and appreciation of the intricacies that go into artisan cheese production.
It was also a pleasure to catch up with some of our esteemed suppliers, and gave us lots of opportunity to sample new cheese for our first and business class rotations onboard Emirates flights. A special mention must go to Bradburys Cheese, who we have worked with for many years and who were celebrating their remarkable 140th year. Congratulations on winning multiple awards for your excellent cheeses – a testament to your enduring quality and innovation.
Participating in the awards was a wonderful way for En Route to showcase our expertise in the dairy sector, underscoring our commitment to quality and excellence in everything we do. We'll be out and about at more shows throughout the summer so hope to catch you then!
