Let's talk about the real workplace. It's a mix of people trying to do their best. The juniors are often those hustling the hardest. They're fresh, energetic, and maybe a bit unsure. Remember when that was you? Respecting your juniors doesn't diminish your position. Instead, it strengthens it. Imagine a workplace where everyone feels safe and respected enough to express their thoughts without fear of being dismissed or belittled. That's where creativity thrives. That’s where people don’t work just for a paycheck but for a purpose. We often forget that titles are just that titles. They don’t make us any better than anyone else. Every employee in organization, from the intern to the senior manager, plays a vital role. By showing respect, you validate their contributions, you boost morale, and most importantly, you create a culture where people feel valued and heard. #Leadership #RespectAtWork #WorkplaceCulture #EmonisGroupofCompanies
Absolutely love this! The "real workplace" is a beautiful mess of experiences and contributions, and it's refreshing to see it acknowledged. The junior hustle is real! Their fresh perspectives and energy are invaluable, and fostering a safe space for them to learn and share ideas is crucial. Think back to your own "newbie" days – a little guidance and respect can go a long way. This post hits the nail on the head - respect is the foundation for a truly thriving workplace. When everyone feels valued, heard, and empowered to contribute, creativity explodes and purpose takes center stage. Titles become background noise, and the symphony of a collaborative team takes over.
One of the most common things I have heard from people who are junior level is that when their managers treat them well they are putting in 110% for them in response. That they’d go to war so to speak for that particular manager without a second thought. You get more out of your work staff when you treat them well and respect them for their work.
yeah, that 2nd last line of your post starting with..." By showing respect"...does it look happening? Especially in the Indian corporate construct? Do 1st or 2nd line managers respect mid-senior level employees? Or do they create coteries? Be honest!
Good insight!
Great perspective!
Exactly💯
Makes sense!💯
Valid point!
