Journal of Critical Limb Ischemia is the only peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing the treatment of critical limb-threatening ischemia. The goal of the journal is to provide an international forum for the presentation of original ideas and recent results related to all aspects of diagnostic, therapeutic and pathophysiologic aspects of critical limb ischemia. Journal of Critical Limb Ischemia is the official journal of the CLI Global Society. 😃 😃 Congratulations on Prof Yuanyuan Li‘s newly published case report “Multiple ‘rings’ in the brain” on BMJ with IF 105.7!  (doi: https://lnkd.in/gcSY7X5A) This case is from Xiangya Hospital, Central South University in which a 60s woman was diagnosed with K1 hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae species (hvKP) using Hugobiotech’s mNGS pathogen diagnosis solution and was finally treated. It showed again that mNGS is an important novel way in pathogen detection and Hugobiotech is committed to transform the pathogenic diagnosis paradigm. #mNGS #pathogen #pathogenic #diagnosis #BMJ #infectious #casereport

🚀 Proud to share our latest publication from my research in Japan, led by my talented junior colleague! 🧬 Our study explores the role of the Gfpt1 gene in skeletal muscle function and its link to Congenital Myasthenic Syndromes (CMS). Key findings include: Gfpt1 Deficiency: Leads to reduced cell viability and triggers apoptosis in muscle cells. ER Stress Response: Gfpt1 deficiency alters cell fate from autophagy to apoptosis under endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress. Muscle Weakness in Mice: Gfpt1 knockout mice exhibit significant muscle weakness and structural abnormalities similar to CMS patients. These insights could pave the way for new therapeutic strategies for muscle-related diseases! 🏋️♂️ https://lnkd.in/gKY-TiHr

Good morning, I am very pleased to post this important Citryll milestone! Great work from the Citryll team in Oss, and numerous collaborators in the Netherlands, UK and Germany. This publication sheds further light on CIT-013's mechanism of action (MoA), a first in class inhibitor of NETosis biology. CIT-013 has potential for a wide range of diseases with unmet medical need including autoimmune diseases, incl rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and hidradenitis suppurativa; respiratory conditions like severe asthma and COPD; cardiovascular conditions including co-morbidities seen in autoimmune disease patients like lupus as well as heart failure, cancer and wound healing. First in human data show CIT-013 is safe, has good exposure upon subcutaneous administration and yields potent inhibition of NET formation in the human LPS challenge model of innate immunity.
