A tale of 2 content campaigns - both were focused on driving free value, and as a "lead magnet" into our content world. Campaign 1: Studio produced course about sales messaging - took about 3 months and dropped like $20k.... In first 30 days got about 1k form fills Campaign 2: We had a great Sell Better Daily Sales Show around objection handling - guests and audiences were firing off tips and tricks - and everyone in audience asked if we could send a transcript of the chat so they could get them all. After we ripped the transcript into a simple easy to read PDF and gave to the audience we ALSO put it on a landing page (50+ Objection Handling Tips) and put a small campaign behind it. Direct cost was less than $1k as this was a by-product of our daily work. In first 30 days got about 2k form fills... The free content flywheel WORKS - we have been committed to it for last 2 years but we still shake our head when we see above happen.
