When you tire of London, you tire of life…And judging from the mood of the room at the Chapman Barrigan lecture last night, no one will be tiring of London any time soon! rosemary feenan gave the keynote speech - and it was one that unlocked the story of London, past, present and future. Her speech was entitled 'Outside - In - an investor perspective' and Rosemary shared investor perspectives on London. True to form, she did her homework. It was an exceptionally engaging talk and she even managed to squeeze in some London Calling 🎵 🎸 which must have been a first in the hallowed halls of Goldman Sachs For London to remain the global powerhouse that it is, we are going to need a lot of Cs from the government: 🔭 Clarity 💚Consistency 🤝 Collaboration 💬 Communication Then we were treated to a panel discussion with many of the female leaders driving London’s success on the global market. Joanne McNamara Kat Hanna Liz Peace Marit van Rheenen Samantha McClary….London calling indeed! “Why, Sir, you find no man, at all intellectual, who is willing to leave London. No, Sir, when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford."
— Samuel Johnson, September 20th 1777
