"Initially, before joining Hydro Leduc, I worked far from my family circle, traveling extensively throughout Europe. Eventually, it began affecting my family. At the time, I held the position of Supply Chain Manager and was a shareholder in a British company. I decided to leave that role to be closer to home.
With no ego issues, I accepted a position with slightly less responsibility at Hydro Leduc. However, I was determined to showcase my capabilities, demonstrate how they could leverage my skills, and envision a future with my profile. In the first few months, some key figures in the company thoroughly assessed me and understood how I could contribute.
I joined Hydro Leduc on September 18, 2017, initially as a Warehouse Manager. There was a company reorganization aligned with the 'HL 2025' strategy. Consequently, I evolved into the role of Logistics Manager.
Subsequently, within my responsibilities as Logistics Manager, I became part of the Executive Committee.
I oversee around fifty individuals in various areas: planning, procurement, warehouse, painting, packaging, transportation, reception, and more. This demands great flexibility, adaptability, a good memory, and effective stress management. The key is to convey objectives positively, engaging and motivating the teams.
Remaining close to the operational side, where one must gain perspective, has always been important to me. I maintain a strong connection with my teams, constantly striving to evolve processes to ensure readiness for the future. Despite achieving success this year, acknowledging our accomplishments, there's still much ground to cover to become even better. The intriguing part lies in facing these ongoing challenges."
