Big congratulations to our Managing Director Lisa James for her appointment to the board of directors at British Educational Travel Association (BETA)!
Last week the British Educational Travel Association (BETA) held its AGM, providing an update to members on a packed year of activity. For the first time since the pandemic, the association was back in growth in all areas. Our membership numbers exceeded our 2019 benchmark level and our events sales and sponsorship grew by x2 in some areas. During the meeting, the voluntary Board of Directors for the period ahead were appointed. We said farewell to James Herbertson from Bayswater who has completed two terms of office, re-elected Sam Willan of StudentUniverse and Vicki Cunningham of BUNAC for a second term of office and gave a warm welcome to newly elected Lisa James of EC English Language Centres.
