Could #AI release #ESG insights from ‘dark data’? More than half of all enterprise information today takes the form of ‘dark data’ - that which is invisible to digital search facilities. Dr John Bates, CEO, SER Group, says the key is to keep content infrastructures and platforms flexible, so that new tools and capabilities can be added as cloud-based AI technology continues to advance. https://lnkd.in/eK7Fjdcy

So excited to be able to use generative AI to enhance our day-to-day research! Our tool is internal and secure, so while it can still “learn” from the outside world, all client data and anything generated from it remains in our private and secure environment, alleviating data privacy concerns. Human8 Annelies Verhaeghe #generativeai #metalearnings
Human8 has incorporated its personal AI research assistant across its global operations. By utilising AI automation for more analysis of unstructured data, this has opened up more opportunities for human interpretation and consulting. Annelies Verhaeghe, chief platform officer of Human8, said, “Just like with the internet and social media revolution, as an agency we’ve always embraced tech and innovation, investing in discovery to accelerate success. However, to safely and creatively experiment with AI, we first needed to overcome the data privacy obstacle.” #technology #artificialintelligence #generativeai ------ Join us at our upcoming event: -[Webinar] Join us for an enlightening webinar with marketing leaders from Globe Telecom, PRIMER Group, and Emperador Distillers on how to navigate the hurdles and implementation strategies of AI-driven marketing strategies. 🖥️💼⌨️🔮📜 Hello LinkedIn community! I am just writing to express my profound joy (read: bemused astonishment) at the "AI Disclosure Act of 2023". 🎉 Ah, the magic of bureaucracy! Now, all generative AI outputs must carry a disclaimer saying, “Disclaimer: this output has been generated by artificial intelligence.” 🤖💬 At first glance, this feels like the regulatory equivalent of those "May contain nuts" warnings on packets of peanuts. 🥜 To borrow a phrase from Douglas Adams, it's a case of "stating the bleedin' obvious" 🙄. Yet, here we are. In the interests of compliance, let me get this straight: We are to label AI-generated content with a disclaimer to inform people it's AI-generated. Should we also be including disclaimers in other places where AI has a hand? 🖐️ For instance, "This weather forecast has been fine-tuned by AI" 🌦️ or "This recommended book was suggested by an AI" 📚. Maybe even, "This spam email has been filtered by an AI, you're welcome" 📧. To be serious for a moment (it happens, I swear 😄), while it is undoubtedly important to ensure transparency in the AI outputs we interact with daily, this act seems like it's replacing a nuanced conversation about AI ethics and accountability with, well, a sticker. 🏷️ Let’s focus on teaching digital literacy, let's improve our understanding of AI, and let's strive for authentic, effective regulations, rather than crowding our digital landscapes with disclaimers that might soon become just another ignored pop-up in our lives. I understand the intention, really I do. We need to be aware of when and where AI is at play. But should we really mar every piece of digital landscape with disclaimers? We are living in an era where AI is the backbone of many operations. We all know that, right? Imagine if we applied this logic elsewhere. The morning coffee you enjoy? Slap a label on it: "Disclaimer: this coffee was made by a machine." The car that drives you to work? Stick a bumper sticker on it: "Disclaimer: this car was assembled by robots." So here's to a future where the first words we see every morning aren't "Good Morning" but rather “Disclaimer: this output has been generated by artificial intelligence.”. 🍻 Just as I hit post, I'm now wondering... Should I add a disclaimer? "Disclaimer: this output has been generated by artificial intelligence and by a human mind fueled by too much caffeine and a hint of professional sarcasm." 🙃☕ Have a wonderful (and not too disclaimed) day, everyone! #AIDisclosureAct2023 #AI #Regulation #digitaltransparency https://lnkd.in/gGr54aKq.

Great considerations if you are thinking about #AI, most specifically about the importance of a data strategy both in its value to the effectiveness of the tool but more importantly, the security of your data. Lots of rewards but lots of risks to consider if you are considering #ChatGPT or the like. #Data #DataGovernance #MDM
