Who says ice cream is only for summer? 🍦 Magnum defies this notion with this beautiful campaign (Video, OOH, Digital) to strategically overcome seasonal consumption limits. I don't know how it will work on brand linkage, but it perfectly relishes the joy of life's simple pleasures, like ice cream, even in the coldest moments/months, literally and figuratively. The ad is relatable to ice cream fans like me, who always look for an opportunity to have ice cream regardless of the weather. Still, the meaning behind finding your "summer," finding your simple pleasure moments of indulgence to savor life, is also aspirational and relatable for almost everyone.  Plus, ice cream in cold weather also has a rebellious vibe that could make the adoption of this behavior more appealing to new audiences. It sells the joy of tasting Magnum by evoking the positive feeling of summer joy. The dramatization of the sunlight bathing people's faces adds a genius celestial touch, enhancing the moment of biting into a Magnum and evoking the feeling of finding your taste of summer, and the sunlight moment reminded me (with a totally different tone) of the classic Boots UK commercial, "Summer Rush.” https://lnkd.in/gVz3G5py A distinctive element I love is that sensory and immersive contrast between the cold winter black and white visuals (it makes you feel cold) and the "warm" joy of tasting a Magnum, elevating the moment of indulgence. Hey there! Big news! I've made it to Lacoste ! 🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊 A few years ago, I wrapped up my Biotechnology degree and did an internship at a Spanish Research Centre. But guess what? I quickly realized it wasn't the path for me. So, I decided to try something new and pursued a Master's in Operations Management, thinking it would combine my engineering background with my love for creativity and management. Well, that didn't quite pan out the way I expected. But here's where it gets interesting. After just a year, I had the chance to go for a Double Diploma Degree in Brand Management in France. And I thought, "Why not?" - it was my shot to explore my creative side. And guess what? Six months later, I landed my first big marketing internship with L'Oréal, one of France's biggest companies. Today, I'm thrilled to share my latest adventure: I've joined Lacoste as a Global Marketing Manager Assistant in the Footwear department, and I'm doing it all in French. It was Marathon Weekend this past Sunday here in Atlanta. From a marketing lens, here’s what I loved about the experience and activations: — 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰: after 16 years of tradition, Atlanta Track Club introduced a new start/finish line and (3) new race formats that encouraged community, flexibility, and personalization. I love that in addition to heritage, there’s always room to innovate and try something fresh.  — 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜: at aid stations you’ll often have music blasting across the course. I loved how ATC strategically stationed a live band at an iconic Atlanta backdrop (Jackson Street Bridge, a la notorious Walking Dead scene). It turned an already cool photo opp into an even more memorable experiential moment. —𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲: despite shifting start/finish locations, runners still meandered through notable ATL neighborhoods. For businesses along the course, I loved seeing them cheering on folks and building awareness and consideration with primely timed race rewards (who doesn’t love discounts?!) — 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐚 𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧: handcrafted posters are my race favorite and keep me engaged as a runner. The number of “Strava is forever” signs I encountered is too many to count. Seriously. They’ve created a palpable cultural idiom among the active community that might one day rival Nike’s iconic “Just Do It.” When I think about the number of fitness events at scale where I’m sure this phenomenon is happening, I can’t help but think of the creative ways Strava could capitalize on this. It makes me wonder how or if they’re “cashing in” on this cultural cache. As experiences become an increasingly compelling way to connect and give value to the customer, I hope to see more personalized, thoughtful and dynamic moments like these that made my 13.1 in the cold so much fun! 

Location scouts are always interesting, but yesterday’s VIP tour of iconic Fenway Park was a ‘monster’ of a time. Ten-year-old fanboy Tim would be ‘green’ with envy, let me tell you. ⚾ Bad puns aside, I tell people all the time that a career in video marketing is second to none because most days, it’s like having an all-access, unfiltered, behind-the-scenes pass into the inner workings of industry masters. Just like Dorothy in the Land of Oz, we get to peek behind the curtain and witness how innovations are concocted, technologies are forged, and champions are bred. We're in the board room, the locker room, and everywhere in between… Capturing the essence of brand journeys  Telling the stories of leaders shaping our future Showcasing the human side of corporate giants In what other career field do you get to hang with the C-Suite, brainstorm with visionaries, and be a part of strategic brand discussions? Or in the case of yesterday, literally stand in Red Sox manager Alex Cora’s office, stroll along center field, and explore the backstage halls of baseball legends. And the best part? Every day is a new adventure, every project a new creative opportunity. It's more than a job; it's a front-row seat to the world's most exciting stories.

The professional’s Touch on my brand. It's the 14th day of super amazing results. Participating in the challenge has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me yielding tangible results and fostering personal growth along the way. THIS 👏 People always say that I'm quiet and I have been overlooked for roles in the past. I will never be the loudest voice in the room, but that doesn't mean I'm not of value – or less valuable than someone that is more extroverted. On the contrary, I'm the ideas person – something that has unlocked promotions for me in the past – and I'll contribute in my own way, in a way that I'm comfortable with. A big part of how I work is that I like to listen to all thoughts and opinions in the room, and I'll weigh them up in my mind before offering my opinion. I take a little longer to process things as I like to fully consider everything and not make rash decisions. Sometimes ideas come to me later on, and those can be the best kind. Yes, I can be quiet, but I'm hardworking, I get my head down, I learn new systems and processes quickly, and I get things DONE. I've seen louder, more extroverted individuals in various work places before, but loud isn't always good. Yes, having louder people can create more of a buzz or vibe in your office, but sometimes 'social' or 'loud' can have negative connotations: 1) Lazy or poor work ethnic – I'm talking those who spend all day chatting at their desks and never do any actual work. Or those constantly away from their desks and can usually be found gossiping in the kitchen. 2) Creating drama or conflict in the workplace – creating and/or spreading gossip and getting involved because they live for the drama. 3) Argumentative and confrontational personality traits – pushes back on things, very vocal, moans a lot, easily upset by mundane things, and hard to work with.
