Ecstatic to share a significant milestone in my career journey! My dreams are finally taking shape as I embark on a new chapter: I've secured my enrollment for the Chartered Accountancy degree from ICAB! 📚 Reflecting back, it's been a remarkable ride. Coming from a science background, the path wasn't always smooth since 2019. But guess what? Challenges were met with determination and perseverance. Despite being admitted to ICMAB with the expectation of completing CMA within 3 years, my journey unfolded at its own pace. I managed to conquer 10 courses over 4 years, and through it all, I've questioned myself countless times about my capability to finish the journey. Yet, here I stand, with a newfound conviction that whispers "yes, I can." ✊ Now my confidence has grown to the point that it has convinced myself that I can do both CA and CMA simultaneously, the most demanding professional degrees in the corporate realm. So, I took up this challenge. This endeavor brings with it a wave of emotions, but one emotion shines brighter than the rest: gratitude. 🙏 Amidst the twists and turns, I've discovered the unwavering belief my family holds in me. A heartfelt shoutout to Ammu and Bhaia – your faith in my journey warms my heart. ❤️ Your unwavering support has given me the strength to push forward. What to do if you're waiting for case study results (and have no finger nails left!) 🤓 I totally get it - I waited 10 weeks for my CIMA results every sitting! Something interesting I wanted to share about a book I am currently reading which has so much relevance and resemblance with my life. Let me narrate one story then, I will debrief the crux. One day my wife and myself while coming back in car were discussing of pursuing CPA. Since I was doing similar work and we were planning to travel to USA in 8 months, it would be easier for me to appear for CPA exams in USA. This conversation was in year 2014 April when I agreed that I would pursue. The very next weekend, I went to the Beckers office for enrolling myself for CPA courses and paid Inr 62000 to start my course. Then finally I became US CPA in the year 2016 February. Now the ultimate take away from this narration of my real life event is: First - You always need a spark to achieve something, just like rockets which takes you to a new height. Secondly - Do not procrastinate your decisions, since it will make your life more miserable. Thirdly - Learning at any age is a blessing. It will definitely give you back in return.
