When I apply to jobs, nearly i’d say 5/100 of them send an automated feedback email after a day or two, for me to fill out a feedback/survey on how was my experience of the application process. By that time, I don’t even remember what the application process looked like for that particular job since I’m consistently applying to 30-40 jobs a day. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t even remember the process of the 2nd job application when I’m on the 5th. I think that all job applications should have an optional small/quick feedback section right before the “submit” button, that increases the likelihood of higher feedback rate and effectiveness of the response that applicant submits. Don’t know about others, but i don’t think i would be spending another 5-10 minutes on a survey for some probably tedious job application that i don’t even remember the process of applying. Any and all thoughts are welcome to join. #jobseeking #jobapplication #hiring2024 #recruitment

I want to make a lot of money, do you? My hiring philosophy is straightforward: I value individuals who are eager to grow. I'm not interested in confining anyone to 5-10% appraisals or sticking to traditional annual review cycles. If the company grows by 40% this quarter and your contribution is significant, you'll see a 40% increase in your compensation this quarter—no questions asked. We all work driven by passion and goals, but let's face it: you need money to chase those dreams. Your enthusiasm for work can't thrive on unfulfilled dreams. So, come join us. Share your personal aspirations with us, whether it's taking your parents on a world tour or buying a home, and let's align our efforts to achieve your goals alongside ours. Find the link to our careers page in the comments below. Also for the non-job seekers, do you agree with it? Do you think if the company helped you meet your financial goals, would it free you upto do extraordinary work? #jobalert #jobhiring2024 #growthmindset #remotejobs

January 2024: an encouraging start after a tough end to 2023. ⏫ Double figure new vacancies, all with solid hiring needs & strong interview commitment. 🤝5 data candidates starting new perm positions in the calendar month – pre-start/congratulatory lunch-meets with all 🍽. ↩ Swiftly replacing early year candidate drop out (it happens – although candidates with multiple job offers = positive market indicator). 📅 15 client service meetings (remote & F2F), understanding Q1/2 landscape. 💬 Attendance confirmed at x 2 major UK data analytics conferences. 📈 Record candidate application numbers (although please answer screening questions accurately 😉). 🧲 Mid-year client hospitality booked - details to follow. 🏆⚽………Aston Villa still in the title race. Early days and 2024 outlook remains uncertain but appears brighter than 12 months ago (IMO). On hand to collaborate about hiring needs (clients & candidates), discuss market conditions, CV appraisals and much more for remainder of Q1....and beyond 📱 #q1 #dataanalytics #february #keepingbusy #titlerace

👀 Want to peek behind the current of a hiring experience for a role listed on Linkedin? The position was a part-time “Deliverability Analyst” role, requiring more than 2 years of deliverability experience. Here are the stats: - Almost 200 applications submitted - Out of 200, only about 10 had the required qualified experience (yes, I read through all of the resumes 😫) - 5 made it past the first round interview (some didn’t apply until I had already put out an offer to someone on the role) - Almost all of those 5 had between 10-20 years experience and were fully capable of the job So who got it? As cliché as it sounds, the best fit for THIS role at THIS company. I couldn’t go by capability alone so I had to go by who fit the niché needs we were facing, like who: - Has a strong track record of dealing with our niché needs - Approaches the company and role with gusto (startup/small orgs require strong proactive effort) - Provides what the team currently lacks in knowledge, skills, and experience - Has future goals that align with available growth opportunities - And more In truth, I had to offer rejections to many who could probably do the role better than I could. These are the unseen things that go along with hiring, and it should encourage you that rejections are less about your capability and more about who is the better fit for the role at that company. If you don’t get the offer, it truly wasn’t the best fit. I’ve experienced these types of rejections and the offer I eventually got somewhere else was way better than the rejected ones would have been for me. I hope this helps someone on the job hunt. And to all of those who applied, I wish I had had more than one part-time role to offer. You deserve happiness and a great working experience too. I wish you luck!
