Are you ready to level up your laboratory skills? This message is for the people who are trying to get the job and the people who are working in the field. First and foremost, it's important to have a strong foundation in science and understand the principles behind the experiments you're conducting. And basic knowledge of the lab test. Next, pay attention to lab procedures. As a laboratory technician, you'll be working with precise measurements and delicate and complex equipment. One wrong move could throw off an entire lab result, so be sure to double-check your work and stay focused at all times. Trust me, I've learned this the hard way, and I have had a bad experience with it. But it's not just about technical skills; communication is also crucial. Whether you're collaborating with colleagues or presenting your findings, being able to articulate your thoughts clearly and effectively is essential. Plus, building strong relationships with your team can lead to better understanding and better outcomes. So stay focused and keep working. Best of luck #Laboratory Technician

Industrial Chemistry | QA/QC | ISO 17025 | ISO 9001: 2015 | Lab Analyst | Lab Supervisor | Lab Technical Supervisor |
🔬 Embracing Change and Seeking Growth in the Laboratory ⁉ The Question: I was asked about my journey from a Lab Technician to a Senior Lab Technician, then to a Lab Supervisor, and then transitioning back to a Lab Technician role. 🚗 The Drive: My career has always been driven by the desire to contribute significantly to the projects I'm involved in and to actively participate in my teams. 📈 The Growth: This drive led me to take on more responsibilities and challenges, which resulted in my promotions to Senior Lab Technician and then Lab Supervisor. 🤔 💡 The Realization: I discovered that my passion is deeply rooted in the hands-on, technical aspects of laboratory work. I found myself longing for more direct involvement in projects and the chance to leverage my technical skills for the team’s success. Beyond just technical expertise, my lab work has also involved refining my presentation skills through active participation in projects and meetings. This combination of technical prowess and improved communication has amplified my contributions to the projects and teams. ⚖ The Decision: When the opportunity arose to return to a Lab Technician role for an exciting upcoming project, I made the strategic decision to embrace it, even if it meant moving to a different department or even a company. This decision was not a step back, but a strategic move to align my career with my passions. 👓 The Perspective: It's a testament to the fact that titles are not always reflective of the value one can bring to a team or a project. 🌟 The Future: I'm excited about the contributions I'll be making in my current role at QatarEnergy and look forward to the growth and learning opportunities it presents. ❗ Remember, it's not always about moving 'up', sometimes it's about moving 'right' for you. 😁 #CareerJourney #LaboratoryLife #GrowthMindset
