Good read. Encourages us to “think things like system changes through” to account for capacity dynamics. Building something without a qualified workforce nor the ability to get reimbursed at a sufficient rate, for example, may be a wasted opportunity

This article underscores the urgent need to improve mental health care access for veterans, especially in rural areas. Senator Tester's call for increased providers in crucial locations highlights the seriousness of the issue. The tragic incidents mentioned emphasize the dire consequences of inadequate care. While VA initiatives are commendable, more must be done, as pointed out by Senator Tester. Veterans deserve comprehensive and accessible mental health services, and I hope his advocacy leads to meaningful improvements. https://buff.ly/4aJE04A #VeteransHealthcare #MentalHealthRecruitment #RuralHealthStaffing #VAStaffingSolutions #HealthcareRecruitment #RPO #StaffingPipeline #TelehealthStaffing #RecruitmentChallenges #MentalHealthProviders #VeteransSupport #StaffingShortages #RuralRecruitment #HealthcareAccess #VeteransRecruitment #StaffingSolutions

Ebony Clarke, LCSW packs a lot into this piece. I appreciate the commitment that change, "the path to do better", begins with OHA. accountability and ownership matter. I also appreciate the call to long term investment, as well as to retaining services funded through M110. change takes time. While Ebony mentions prevention, I would add that it is essential to make long term investments in the prevention of behavioral health challenges. It is not only more cost effective, but leads to longer lasting outcomes as well as healthier kids, families and communities. https://lnkd.in/ec4kZswk

No other projects impact individuals quite like mental health facilities. Whether it’s a loved one, a close friend, or a colleague, many of us have felt the weight that a mental health burden can have on those closest to us in our communities. Artaic Group is honored by the opportunity to act as the Owner's Representative for these impactful projects, understanding that our work has the power to transform lives. We help build trauma-informed sanctuaries that provide comfort, hope, and empowerment to those on the journey to recovery, while also supporting the families and communities surrounding them. Every aspect of our mental healthcare projects is carefully crafted to reduce stress, inspire tranquility, and celebrate resilience - because when we build mental health projects, we're not just constructing buildings, we're changing lives and uplifting the human spirit by building, a positive community and support system and sharing the message that you’re not alone. We’re all people walking this earth and want to help and support others around us. https://lnkd.in/d45Masex)

The most successful systems are those with the strongest relationships between community stakeholders. I think about these relationships as the fibers of a community safety net. The stronger those connections are, the less likely people who need #behavioralhealth services are going to fall through the gaps. ▶️READ: https://lnkd.in/gihAwKZH Behavioral Health Business #Together
