The Executive Leadership Council (ELC)’s Post

The Nyinkyim Museum, founded by Kwame Akoto-Bamfo, archives African history, symbolism, and traditions through art, capturing the essence of the Black journey across the diaspora. The museum provides a sanctuary for reflection and inspiration, with each artifact echoing the voices of our ancestors. As members entered the museum, they were surrounded by the rich tapestry of African history and culture. The compelling exhibits and narratives transported us to a world where the past and present intertwine, highlighting our people's resilience, creativity, and determined spirit. ELC members were welcomed "home" by the museum guides, who led us through exhibits showcasing the brutal actions taken against our people during their capture and journey to a new world. This impactful moment connected members in deeply meaningful ways. The visit to the Nyinkyim Museum reminds us to celebrate all parts of who we are and to use our legacy to strive for excellence, advocate for justice, and never forget. #ELCInAfrica #Accra #HonoringOurAncestors #ELCMembers #BlackExecutives
