🌟 Reflecting on our MOVEMBER challenge success As December begins, we at digetiers are taking a moment to celebrate the incredible success of our МOVEMBER challenge. Not only did we see an impressive 50 500+ points collected through our efforts, but we also ignited a wave of motivation and change within our team. 🏃♂️ One standout story is from a team member who embarked on a 5k run for the first time in years, embodying the spirit of our challenge. It’s inspiring proof that change can happen from anywhere, and even in a remote setting, we can collectively drive significant impact. MOVEMBER wasn't just about fitness; it was a proof of the power of remote collaboration. It showed us how remote working doesn't limit our ability to come together for a common goal - it actually can enhance it. 🤲 Now, the next exciting step: As a team, we'll choose an charity organization to which we’ll donate the funds raised. Today is our 6th official foundational anniversary and we want to thank all our supporters, volunteers, sympathizers, collaborators. "Our voices, are heard", our organizational impact currently calculated at about 4.2 million euro per year in positive change for society and our message of neuroinclusion and the value of neurodivergent pride has been influential worldwide. The foundation is an non-profit organization created by & for neurodivergent people, showing the positive powers of neurodiversity, aiming to make the future more ND friendly. We are proud, to be of service, and it makes us excited for more to come. We thank all that support our love and fire. We have 4 departments and 20+ projects, and we are just getting started. As said by the foundation director, in our recent volunteer-event: "We will continue to support those winds of change, fueling the currents of compassion, leaving the ground more fertile for our peoples, than before. We will help all those brains, to keep their hearts in mind. Not because we are told, but because we heard a calling in our own souls, to support all, who are most unlike most others, 'our neurodivergent family', and facilitate those allies who love, employ or support them. A type of idealism based in the platinum rule. Just like we said in 2016 and 2018, when there is nobody else, it will be ourselves we can rely on to lead the way forward, to help make this society more ND friendly, and enable all neurotypes to thrive."

The fourth and final post in our “Breathe the Mission into your Fundraising Event” Series. If you haven’t viewed our last three posts and videos, please go back and review to fully understand this specific post. We started with that special moment watching the children at Academy Prep Centers for Education Prep passionately saying that daily convocation in the school hall. We then saw the teachers, staff, and alumni leading the guests at the Gala event in reciting that convocation. And how about that impactful video that was shown before the Bid from the Heart (Paddle Raise)? Now it's GO time. Time to maximize the emotional impact and transform emotion into giving. At Auction Horizon, we believe everything that happens on the fundraising stage should be with the intent of maximizing fundraising potential and building giving momentum. The wording is intentional. Gestures are intentional. Energy is intentional. Emotion is intentional. We also know that time is of the essence when it comes to maximizing the money raised. For this reason, we work very closely with the client on timing and scripting. Adrian and Da’Shaun, the alumni featured in the impact video shared in yesterday’s post, were able to attend the event amid their busy schedules. The big question was: How do we incorporate these two gentlemen into the giving moment after the very impactful video without losing momentum and too much very precious fundraising time? The result can be seen in this video. Adrian and Da’Shaun walked onto that stage after the video and became part of the fundraising team. The positioning on stage was intentional. The scripting was intentional. They opened the door for Tarryn to introduce that first big level and maximize the power of the give at $25,000. The final part of breathing that Mission into the audience. The result? $125,000 raised on the first level of giving. A few hundred thousand dollars raised over the remaining levels. Exercise your Maker Muscle! KID Museum provides a transformative learning experience that helps kids develop skills to solve problems creatively and embrace an #innovator mindset so they are best positioned for future educational and career pathways. Traditionally, not everyone has been encouraged to flex this “maker” muscle. As a young woman in STEM, I spent years being the only or one of the only women in classes, graduate research labs, and business meetings. But along the way, I learned I have the mind of a maker - the worldview at the root of all of KID Museum’s programs: 💡 Imagination - I come up with new ideas and possibilities. 🌻 Reflection - I think about my experiences and observations to help me learn and grow. 👟 Perseverance - I keep trying even why something is harder than I expected it would be. 🛠 Skill building - I practice new skills that will help me express my ideas. 🔭 Exploration - I try new things and am curious about the world around me. 🎯 Initiative - I take action to make my ideas come to life. ⚙ Teamwork - I work with others by sharing what I know, helping when I can, and asking for help when I need it. 🧠 Perspective taking - I think about other people’s points of view and care about how they feel.
