【 Summer Highlight 】: Summertime in Cambridge Pok To Jason Cheung, Class of 2022 Fellow attended a one-week entrepreneurship boot camp at Cambridge University’s Judge Business School. As an entrepreneur himself, it was an awesome experience to meet with and learn from different entrepreneurs and successful startups. Q: How did you join the program? As an avid entrepreneur, I have been actively exploring different innovative projects and ideas. I joined this program via Cyberport, which sponsored student entrepreneurs to broaden their horizons and bring their startup projects to the next level through the boot camp. Q: Tell us one of your unforgettable memories in Cambridge It was a motivating and fun journey for me, as I got to focus on learning and thinking about entrepreneurship for the whole week with different amazing brainstorming activities, the professor’s intriguing discussions, and a genuine exchange of ideas with fellow participants. The part I liked most was the interactions and conversations I was able to have with different inspiring people during formal dinners at the dining halls in different colleges of Cambridge. Q: What are your takeaways from Cambridge? It is my first time seeing how startup teams and the entrepreneurship culture is beyond Hong Kong, and it is fun to know that things are actually not that big of a difference, as opposed to my expectation. The application for the 2024 #EntrepreneurshipWorldCup is open!   The Entrepreneurship World Cup is a global pitch competition offering the opportunity for qualifying startups to participate in a Global Bootcamp, exposure and connections with global investors and the GEN community and compete in the finals at the end of the year, with US$1Million in cash prizes up for grabs. Since 2019, EWC has awarded $4 million in cash prizes and $150 million in in-kind prizes and provided opportunities for entrepreneurs to reach the next stage in their company's journey.
