Video surveillance enhances security, safety, operational efficiency, and legal compliance while deterring crime, improving customer service, and aiding in dispute resolution, potentially lowering insurance premiums and enabling remote monitoring. Typical installation and maintenance costs are significantly outweighed by potential losses from theft, vandalism, legal claims, and productivity issues, which can easily exceed tens of thousands of dollars per incident. The investment in preventative maintenance for video cameras can lead to substantial savings by reducing repair and replacement costs, minimizing downtime, and ensuring consistent security coverage, ultimately protecting the business from significant financial losses. Some napkin math - considering a surveillance system with 10 cameras, regular maintenance might cost $1,500 to $3,000 annually, compared to potential replacement costs of $10,000 to $20,000 every few years. #videosurveillance #alarmdetectionsystems

I’d add that the choice of surviellence technology carries significant weight to these sentiments. It’s not just about reactive actions to an event after it’s occurred and more so about being proactive with the latest advancements of product offerings in order to prevent an occurrence before it has a chance to come to any detrimental fruition.
