Note this article in GovExec regarding the Hatch Act. Federal Contractors, It is highly recommended you keep your political posts off LI and out of view of your customers - the federal employees. Sure you have a right to have a voice but all your political "likes," "comments" and "shares" will be seen by all of your customers, your teaming partners and future customers and teaming partners, and I promise you, it's a beginner's mistake to blurt your political leanings in federal contracting. It's best to keep your political opinions on your front porch and at home. Engaging in political posts on social media is highly discouraged. If they can't - we shouldn't - out of respect. So, keep every post, comment, like and share - professional only. Otherwise, you'll be "tagged" as someone who just "doesn't get it."

I don't connect with people if the first posts I see on their profile are political. I can't participate and I'm not interested in being your audience.
