Vince Lombardi, a legendary American football coach, once said that perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence. Ironically, the closer we get to reaching our #PeakPotential, the farther away it seems. The level of effort increases exponentially comparative to the results achieved and yet the elite, the best of the best, press through those obstacles and push themselves beyond their current limitations, perceived or real, to achieve something that many would consider to be perfection. When I think about teams who have reached their pinnacle, I think about teams like the US Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, Blue Angels. Precision flying at their level requires a #WinningCulture unlike any other. It requires six 22 ton aircraft flying at more than 400mph to come together and fly as one with just 12 inches separating them from each other. The margin of error is zero. One mistake and the entire team loses their lives. Being a great pilot isn't what makes the Blue Angels special though. Being an exceptional pilot who wins together and who fails together with 5 other exceptional pilots is what makes the Blue Angels the most elite formation flying team on the planet. That's what it means to be part of a #HighPerformingTeam. When every member of the team is centered on a common mission and empowered to think as one, you achieve exceptional results. I am proud to say that this is what we are doing at Firstup. #GrowthMindset #BeLegendary #SISU

For everyone that follows service academy football, the classic thought is that we are smaller, slower, and weaker than everyone else. But I fall back on this. You wouldn't fight me in the parking lot. We ALWAYS played like it was the end of the world. Like there was no tomorrow. And in the world of sports, for us, that was pretty much true. Post graduation, I went on to be an infantry officer in the USMC, then became a data scientist in the USMC as well as an entrepreneur. But that phrase sticks with me still. By endurance we conquer. I was talking with a buddy and he was talking about entrepreneurship being a war of attrition. I couldn't agree more. Who do you go to when your endurance is flagging? https://lnkd.in/dWMGXM6N Nato Tiger Meet 2021, an international military meeting that took place for the fourth time in Portugal and in 2021 complete its 57th edition, since its beginning in 1961. Portugal has been part of this meeting since 1978, where it debuted in Belgium with its Fiat G91, type of aircraft represented on two of the stamps; then it evolved into the Alpha Jet A and F-16 AM aircraft, both of which are also represented in this philatelic issue. To mark the Nato Tiger Meet 2021, which takes place in Beja, this issue presents the most significant paintings of the Tiger aircraft of Squadron 301, Jaguares, in successive participations depicting its evolution and the artistic experiences adopted, including the project for the current year. This meeting, initially promoted in the Cold War period, arose due to insufficient operational training within NATO, “making it essential to promote and consolidate cooperation between its air forces, to create mutual knowledge and a privileged and close relationship between the combat crews, creating a multiplier effect on the combined response capacity ”, as stated by the author of this brochure, António Carlos Mimoso e Carvalho, Lieutenant General Pilot Aviator and Commander of Squadron 301, Jaguares, between 1985-1988. According to the author of this brochure, “this meeting creates opportunities for combined training, sharing of operational knowledge and, at the same time, it is characterized by a unique social and integrating component between crew members, mechanics and other support personnel. As a tradition, aircraft paintings from the various participating nations seek to translate the Tiger Spirit underlying the event. Its meaning is blurred between a demonstration of the warrior genesis of the predecessor flight squadrons and the search for a representation of the big cats, as a symbol of strength, power and proficiency in combat. ”.

Love this comparison Rochak Bakshi,CFP®️ just took me back to NDA days, well said that in marathon of #financialgrowth its constant and disciplined pace of investment that creates a well achieved goal or generate high Alpha( not ur Sqn 😀) over time. Too much beta/ Std Dev may throw one off be it cross country or wealth creation. The X- country CAPT must know his risk and make provisions to hedge them like in X-country all cannot come in first enclosure, but if max cadets make it in first & secnd encloure the Glider is thiers, similarly if either one is able to handle his risk adjusted returns or has good #financialadvisor for the same one can create more wealth over long time. #personalfinance
