📣 Exciting News from Lucasfilm! 🎬 Today, our friends at Lucasfilm made a fantastic announcement: they are publishing their archive of historical documentaries on YouTube for free, benefiting teachers, students, and curious minds everywhere. Originally created as companions to The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones in 2007, these 94 half-hour documentaries cover a diverse range of topics across art, history, science, literature, politics, and philosophy. George Lucas once said, “I have always found that it is easier for students to relate to historical figures when they see them as human beings rather than dates and dry descriptions of events. I feel this approach makes history easier to understand and more accessible to students.” More here: https://lnkd.in/gjE5YDDN

Great news Cindy! Thanks for helping bring this quote to life. "The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character–that is the goal of true education." Rev. Dr. MLK, Jr.
