While there are other cloud storage solutions like Azure Blob Storage or IBM Cloud Object Storage, they share similarities as cloud computing platforms. 🌟 Advantages of Cloud Computing: - Scalability: handle petabytes or just a few files, cloud adpats seamlessly. - Availability and Durability: data safety and durability Your data is in good hands. - Cost-Effectiveness: Pay only for what you use. 🐍 Enter Boto3 🚀 Boto3, an SDK developed in Python, empowers developers to interact with AWS services programmatically. Here’s why it’s a game changer: - Versatility: Boto3 supports over 100 AWS services. - Ease of Use: Boto3’s Pythonic API makes it a joy to work with. - Resource-Oriented: Boto3 provides a resource-based API, allowing you to work with AWS entities directly. This blog focuses on processing a large collection of documents into raw text files and storing them in Amazon S3. We provide you with two different solutions for this use case. The first allows you to run a Python script from any server or instance including a Jupyter notebook; this is the quickest way to get started. The second approach is a turnkey deployment of various infrastructure components using AWS Cloud Development Kit (AWS CDK) constructs. The AWS CDK construct provides a resilient and flexible framework to process your documents and build an end-to-end IDP pipeline. Through the use of the AWS CDK, you can extend its functionality to include redaction, store the output in Amazon OpenSearch, or add a custom AWS Lambda function with your own business logic. #AWS #Amazon #Lake #S3 #OpenSearch #Lambda #CDK

I ask you if I want to run a Javascript or a Python script anything sharp at 10:55 PM in the night every day and the script will roughly take 5 to 10 minutes to execute and that’s it. So what possible scenarios can you think of to achieve this task? 1. Run on a laptop or a PC or 2. Run this directly on a cloud server. So you save the PC cost. But the most cost-effective way would be to run the script on a server which I don’t have to set up and it runs only for that 5 or 10 minutes and I have to pay for this time only . This can be easily achieved by AWS lambda Service. AWS Lambda benefits : 1. You only pay for the compute time consumed by your functions. 2. No idle instances and wasted resources. 3. Forget about the complexities of traditional instance management. 4. Deploying functions is as simple as uploading your code and defining the trigger. 5. It runs your code on a highly available infrastructure, ensuring reliability and fault tolerance out of the box. 6. Lambda seamlessly integrates with AWS services like Amazon S3, DynamoDB, and more, empowering you to build robust and scalable solutions. #awscloud #aws Rahul Maheshwari
