1st of July marks the start of the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. As the new institutional cycle begins, Wojciech Wiewiorowski says: “In this important year during which we welcome a newly-elected European Parliament and a new European Commission. Strengthening European democracy and protecting the fundamental rights of individuals on crucial legislative files should remain a priority for the new Presidency.
