My dream is that at the end of my life when I meet the man I could have become, the best version of myself... we are identical twins. As our lives come to an end, we will begin to look back over all of our choices, all of our accomplishments and all of our behaviors in an attempt to measure our life's value. Instead of waiting until the end of my life, I choose to do this every day RIGHT NOW so that I when I do come to the end, I know I have given everything I can to create the best version of myself. The WORST ending would be meeting that person and we were complete strangers… That I had lived my entire life and never reached my full capacity or my potential! BECOME THE BEST VERSION OF YOURSELF! You must begin to set the standard in your life of MAXING OUT EVERY moment and EVERY opportunity and EVERY experience so that when you get to heaven, you aren’t looking back at the person you never became! Are you ready to meet that person? When you look back over your life, who do you want to be? PREPARATION STARTS NOW! #MAXOUT YOUR LIFE!

Boom! 💥 But I'd be lying, Ed Mylett, if I could say that was it for me. My competition goes deeper and is more complex: childhood wounds, ghosts of the past, abandonment, rejection, disappointment, love withheld, love lost, and limiting beliefs instilled into Little Me and Younger Me. Today I must navigate around those shadows. Daily I awaken to blow away the clouds, again and again, because the Grownup Me can feel the warmth of the sun, even if I can't always see it.

Ed Mylett Love this, Ed! It's like saying, don't wait for a New Year's resolution to be your best self. Why not start with today? It's all about those everyday choices that get us closer to our 'twin.' Let’s not meet as strangers at the end of our journey.

One of my favorite exercises I did, with my very first Life Coach (2003): Picture yourself walking through the woods, overcoming challenges and navigating your way through. You see a light in the distance. It's coming from the widows of a cabin. You walk up and knock on the door. What happens when it pens? My response: "It's an older version of me." Coach: "What does he do?" Me: "He hugs me and says: Wow...you made it."

Great stuff Ed. Over the years, the best lesson I have learned over the years is that the only person I compete with is ME... If you can't top yourself, then you have peaked, and someone younger, faster, and smarter will always come along. Live your success and help them achieve theirs.

There's both no more greater than the day you get to make the best of your life personally, professionally, and spiritually. Everyday is a gift, don't wait for what will happen, make it happen and seize the moment. Don't wait to start living out all that's in you, do it now so there are no regrets.

Ed Mylett The fulfillment that comes from maxing out every area of your life is unmatched. You wake up every morning filled with purpose.
