In many ways These 2 doctors literally SAVED MY LIFE… This weeks episode is 5 % about me and 95 % about all of YOU and all about HEALTH In a personal and pivotal episode of the Ed Mylett Show, I’m sharing something that’s reshaping my journey a bit ….something that does not come as a surprise for those who know me or follow closely here. Its time for a bit of a pause for me from my crazy workload. Actually, its just a season where my health is going to be my priority, not this darn phone and all the demands that come with it! So I'm taking a step back from social media for now and I will do less speaking and crazy travel. Still being focused strategically on biz and mentoring/coaching ..but cutting out the unnecessary and taking time for health, particularly heart health. This decision didn’t come lightly. It’s part of a broader challenge I’ve embraced under the guidance of my doctors - two remarkable women who have cared for me for many years and literally keep me going ! Dr. Amy Doneen and Dr. Gabrielle Lyon. \@thehaspc \@drgabriellelyon OK, so with that being said. Lets focus on YOU and Your health in a VERY detailed episode Today’s episode dives deep into the essence of health, unraveling the steps we can ALL take to ensure we’re not just living but thriving. Together with Dr. Doneen and Dr. Lyon, we explore: The non-negotiable importance of of getting your LABS drawn regularly What EXACTLY are the markers you should be getting tested in those labs and why most doctors don’t test for them! Understanding your genetics through GENETIC TESTING ARTERIAL DISEASE indicators Minimizing your CANCER risks Cancer and HEART DISEASE cross-over screenings SLEEP APNEA testing HORMONE health for men and women WOMEN’S MORTALITY RATES for heart disease and cancer STRESS management 👉You can still stay connected with me and tune in to new episodes of the Ed Mylett Show by joining my email list. I love you Ed and hope you are listening to your friends. Also, please think about learning to meditate, it has helped me get closer to God. I am like you in many ways and have always had a strong faith but as I incorporated my prayer into meditation it has taken me to a much higher level of how wonderful our God is and for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord. 🙏 PRAYING FOR YOU & YOUR FAMILY, GOD BLESS

Ed...you are TRULY an amazing individual! Your energy.....your INSPIRATION....your amazing empathy and incitefulness....I have never had anyone catch my attention and affect how I see things and think about things and situations like you have. I come from a VERY rough upbringing, and for a while when I was younger I went down a very dark rabbit hole, and then I needed to change my life and I took drastic measures to do so.....and I've always said that I live my life in spite of how I grew up.....somewhere along the line I let my guard down, and some took advantage of that situation and I didn't see certain things till it was too late......I trusted and let my guard down....and I essentially let my spirit get broken.... NOW....I am on my comeback tour......and the biggest kick I get in the right direction come from your inspirational words and insights.....I absolutely love the way you see things..... You inspire soooo many with what you do......and you give soooooooo much.....and I get that this is how you make your money.....your living......and I am absolutely positive you are rolling in it....but dude.....that does not diminish how you inspire others....but you do need to step back a little...and give some back to yourself..

I just had blood work done for life insurance. The ATS came back high, it was the only thing out of normal range for me. I have stopped the creatine for now and plan to retest later on, just not sure yet how long creatine takes to leave the system. That said, I would like to get blood and other testing done regularly to stay on top of things for me and my family. Timely post. Open to feedback here.

Love that they mention the important of community and connection to help keep stress in check - it's so important. 😍

I feel like my health is my full-time job - and I couldn't be happier. When I first got sick, I took it as a burden. Now I realize, I GET to take care of myself, it's a gift... and it led me straight to being able to guide others on their wellness journeys as a passion. Cheering for everyone prioritizing their values!

Ed Mylett I'm curious what's the most insightful, counter-intuitive thing you learned about fixing your heart health? There's a lot of conflicting advice and a lot of platitudes. When I asked a colleague at Microsoft long ago, what's the most surprising thing he learned, it was the idea of the water cure. The idea was to drink more water with Himalyan salts. I asked him why? He said it changes alkalinity. He said the plaque that builds up in your inner walls can be trigged by your blood is too acidic. I don't know if science backed up what he learned, but he beat his high blood pressure for the first time in his life by adopting the method. I also remember a friend pointing me to Primal Blueprint and Primal Endurance. It basically outline the proper way to build your heart muscle to line up properly with your level and growth. And I know people who upped their levels of vitamin E or their intake of Cod Liver oil and radically changed their heart health. And I've seen other who have focused on nutritional density and the quantity of beta carotene in their blood markers to radically change their health. So for such an important topic, it's actually rare to find insightful, actional, real advice.

Thanks for sharing. I heard Brendon mention you take a step back from social the other day and I could relate. I recently deleted the apps on my phone… but I keep adding them back. I realized I need to keep them on my laptop vs phone as it’s so tempting. You will keep sharing your light although that might look different we are so glad you’re taking of you for the long haul. My dad passed unexpectedly due to a heart attack. So this hits home strong. I’m exited to listen to this episode. MAXOUT

Recently returned from a work conference. A speaker shared that while it’s important to know how to put in the work, grind long hours, practice delayed gratification, etc. when building a business it is nothing without your health. If we are not able to take care of ourselves in a way that allows us to stick around and enjoy the fruits of our labor, than what have we really accomplished? That has really stuck with me and helped motivate me to take health just as seriously as I do the rest of the business. It’s all encompassed.
