Chasing your dream is not easy. You’ll stumble, have doubts, and invest incredible amounts of time and effort along the way. So why do people continue to dream? Why do people chase what may seem crazy and impossible to achieve at first? It’s simple. As someone who has spent my life chasing and living my dreams, I guarantee you the end result is a million times better than you ever could have imagined. The sweat and sacrifice ARE WORTH IT. You will be rewarded in ways you could never otherwise imagine. And you will change your life and the lives of those you love forever. If you have doubts, consider this. As high as the price is for CHASING YOUR DREAM, there’s an even higher price to pay if you don’t dream. The price of regret when you settle for less far outweighs the price of chasing your dream. When you chase your dream, you give yourself a shot at your dream life. But when you sit on the sidelines, I guarantee you won’t be happy where you end up.

I vividly recall a day where I had been notified the alarm was going off at our store at Mall of America. It was 3am and snowing. We had a “corporate” visit coming at 9am. When I entered the building I was told “We’re going to the woodshed.” Mind you, I had moved my family for this opportunity. And 2 VP’s took us out to discuss failures not wins. And I never want to hear “asses and elbows” again. How demoralizing. One row of denim was wrong. I went on to recruit numerous people to this organization believing they would win. I helped build an empire with nothing but a pager. No cell phone. No LinkedIn. No support. I was literally out in states far from my home working a telephone. Rotary dial telephone.

Absolutely, chasing your dreams is definitely a challenging journey, and there's no denying that it takes a lot of effort and perseverance. But from personal experience, I can tell you that the rewards at the end of the road are truly incredible. Despite the obstacles and doubts that may arise along the way, the satisfaction and fulfillment you'll feel when you achieve your dream are unmatched. And you know what? Even if the path gets tough and you stumble, it's all part of the process. Those struggles only make the eventual success even sweeter. Trust me, it's worth every ounce of sweat and sacrifice. Now, I get it, it can be scary to chase after something that seems impossible at first. But let me ask you this: What's scarier? Taking the leap and going after your dream, or looking back with regret and wondering "what if"? Personally, I'd rather take the chance and pursue my dreams than live with the regret of never trying. Because in the end, the satisfaction of knowing you gave it your all and achieved something meaningful is priceless. So go ahead, embrace the journey, chase your dreams, and watch as your life transforms in ways you never thought possible.

It takes tremendous courage to chase after that impossible-seeming vision when everyone else thinks you're crazy. The stumbles, fatigue, and moments of feeling utterly lost are all part of the hero's journey. But the ultimate payoff eclipses any price you pay along the way. Living with the regret of dreams deferred is soul-crushing. Settling for an "okay" life, forever wondering "what if?", is a brutal form of spiritual bankruptcy. You only get one roll of the cosmic dice in this life. To not bet big on yourself and your wildest ambitions is tragic.

I truly appreciate your words! I have been a Chef for over 30+ years, building my resume and knowledge. I finally made a decision to work for myself, using my many years culinary experience, to become a personal chef, and 25 years of gym experience to combine personal fitness training, with health and nutrition. Also my wealth advisor that I have been with for 5 years has done wonders with my retirement. So I just became a licensed agent in Californua. You had talked about the 4 F's before. Faith, Family, Fitness, and Finance. I want to make an impact and help people with their health goals through nutritional eating habits and exercise, also the benefits of helping families that do not have the knowledge or financial means for their retirement planing. To me this is a win win! Thank you for all that you do and caring enough to help! Appreciate you 🙏

Spent too many years of my life NOT using my voice to build connection, to grow, to CHASE MY DREAMS... This morning I am recording a brand new Voice Demo, on a platform new to me, at the urging of a friend. Just smiled as I realized...this person has the same fist name as the other friends who have had LIFE-CHANGING IMPACT on my life. Now even MORE committed to this growth toward my dreams!! P.S. Hey 'Imposter-Voice'...there's the exit!"

I needed to hear this Ed Mylett. Some days those dreams feel so hard to touch. But like you say we keep compounding those efforts. I really liked the analogy you'd used some time ago with the Piñata. Everytime I feel down. I just remember one day that Piñata will burst open and I'll get all the candy. #MAXOUT

Ed Mylett The beginning is when we are born and the end is when we die. What’s in the middle is the energy we put in when we are alive. What makes it count is fulfilling our purpose and going after our dreams is part of it.
