Everyone wants to become a software engineer? I spoke with few of my neighbours and the parents want their kids to be software engineers. I asked the reason and they answered "Money". While I agree there's money in this field, and if you're from a middle class family, tech is one of the good places to make such money. Many of my friends are working in tech without making good money even today, reason being they're just not interested and unable to survive. It's like an entire generation wants to get into the tech industry. Interesting discussions. #tech #students #career #softwareengineering

NYC network 📢 📢 📢 This Friday, Stacks+Joules latest cohort (6) graduates. Having spent time in NYC in person and virtually supporting these grads, and knowing what they have to go through in-order to pass the program, I can put my reputation on the line by saying anyone who hires one of these individuals will get the following; -> Hungry to learn & motivated individual who wants a full-time position. -> Committed and loyal employees. -> An opportunity to change a life, and support our industry to slowly become more diverse. Data from S&J's previous placements show that these individuals stay longer in 'your' organisation than the average Technician hire. If you're in NYC, I encourage you to attend this event. You won't be disappointed. Kill it, Stacks+Joules team!! 💙 #smartbuildings #buildingautomation

Reflecting on My First Job as a Software Engineer: A Journey of Growth As I stroll down memory lane, I can't help but smile at the vivid memories of my first job as a Software Engineer. Back then, resources were scarce, and problem-solving meant diving into forums or posting on Code Source, seeking help and guidance. The challenges were real, but so were the lessons. Each line of code was a puzzle waiting to be solved, and every hurdle was an opportunity to learn. It was a time when we embraced the thrill of the unknown, and collaboration was the key to overcoming obstacles. Fast forward to today, and the landscape has transformed beyond recognition. The wealth of resources available is staggering, and problem-solving has evolved into a collaborative and dynamic process. The journey from seeking help on forums to contributing to open-source projects has been nothing short of transformative. Looking back, I realize how much we've changed and how the tech world continues to evolve. It's a testament to the resilience and adaptability of our community. I'm grateful for the experiences that shaped me and excited about the continuous journey of growth. To all the budding engineers out there, embrace the challenges, savor the victories, and never stop learning. The tech world is a dynamic playground, and your journey is just beginning! #SoftwareEngineering #TechEvolution #CareerJourney #LearningAndGrowing #careerownershiphub

I’ve come to realize that being in tech isn’t really all about the title. In the ever-evolving world of technology, it’s easy to get caught up in the pursuit of impressive job titles and accolades. However, my journey has taught me that the true essence of a career in tech lies in the passion for problem-solving, the drive for continuous learning, and the impact we make through our work. It’s about collaborating with talented teams to innovate and create solutions that make a difference. It’s about the dedication to mastering new skills and staying ahead in an industry that’s constantly changing. Most importantly, it’s about the resilience to overcome challenges and the commitment to personal and professional growth. Titles may come and go, but the value we bring to our projects, the relationships we build, and the knowledge we gain are what truly define our careers. Let’s focus on making meaningful contributions and embracing every opportunity to learn and grow. #TechCareer #ProfessionalGrowth #ContinuousLearning #Innovation #TeamWork
