Chief Development Officer at Echelon Front

Good leadership outlasts the leader. A few years back at Echelon Front, I worked with a CEO, an incredible leader who believed in #ExtremeOwnership. Shortly after attending an #ExtremeOwnershipMuster, we received the horrible news that he had died suddenly and unexpectedly. But his business and family did not crumble once he was gone. Instead, the team stepped up and led, keeping his legacy alive. By fostering Decentralized Command and training his people, the CEO had created new leaders to keep the company going and achieve its mission. Your leadership persists in your absence. Make sure that you leave a good legacy by leading them in the right direction.

Pericles had it right: "What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others." Echelon Front has it right. Battle-tested principles of human interaction and decision making that apply to life and relationships. Well done sir

I would be interested in learning more about your approach. My company had a similar situation 3 years.
