“Get back into your comfort zone.” “Identify who you are and in what you are really good.” “Network and be visible.” These are my personal 3 take-aways from the #womenday by GBO yesterday. It was an afternoon full of deep dives and inputs with inspiring panelists about confidence, “falling in love with the problem our business wants to solve and not the solution we offer” (Elena Dolinski) building our tribe and support system, staying curious, time management and “defining what we want to do with our time” (Patricia Benayas Checa) female leadership, work life harmony, consistency, focus, training ourselves, “the cost of opportunity and how much are we willing to lose instead of what we want to win” (Elena Pérez), finding our purpose, finance and economy (because yes we want to earn money), finding and following female references, how to say no, looking into the future with optimism…and so much more!! My favorite part was the refreshing speech of Mercedes Wullich sharing years of experience and observations of all the incredible female leaders she has accompanied: “Get back into your comfort zone. There are almost no women in their comfort zone. Going out of our comfort zone to learn is necessary, to get inspiration. But our business should be built on our strengths and where we feel at ease.” “You need to identify what you do extremely good, better than anyone else.” —> “En qué eres un/a crack?” (in Spanish). “Talk about it. Become visible. Show the people around you who you REALLY are.” Thank you, Mercedes, for these important reminders. Thank you GBO and all the speakers, for the amazing event! Allow me to elaborate a bit more on the quotes below: Just like the impact of my life is a direct expression of who I really am, humanity's trajectory is to a large extend a reflection of the state of human consciousness. The current trajectory is not very good, and the responsibility for changing humanity's trajectory is squarely ours. My purpose is to help evolve human consciousness to be in harmony with the universe. I actualize my intention by focusing on my mindfulness practice. I am actively cultivating inner peace, serenity, a quiet confidence, and a more grateful and joyful way of living. My path is the path of non-ego-based action - detached from the outcomes. I walk this path with 'Yoga consciousness' with joy, equanimity, humility and compassion - mindfully, conscious, and aware. We all have access to this path by tapping into who we really are, by tapping into our souls. We can do this by seeking flow experiences, by going with our intuition, by articulating our intentions, and by engaging in mindfulness practices. That way we are present and aware, and ready to co-create the outcomes of the big transformation that has begun.

Taking a break from the hustle and bustle to recharge and refocus. Currently reading 'The Square and the Tower' by @Neil Ferguson, amazing book that explores the intersection of networks and hierarchies throughout history. I was struck by the story of the Medici family, who rose to power in 15th-century in Florence through their banking empire. The family's success was not due to birthright or individual talent, but rather their ability to build and leverage a strong network of relationships with merchants, artists, and intellectuals. By fostering connections, investing in others, and sharing knowledge and resources, the Medici family was able to achieve far more than they could alone. His story holds valuable lessons for professionals today, including the importance of building diverse networks, investing in others, and sharing knowledge and resources to drive collective success. One key takeaway that resonates with me is the importance of embracing the power of networks in today's world. In an era where traditional hierarchies are being disrupted, it's crucial to recognize that true influence and innovation often come from the connections and relationships we build.
