It has been a lot of conversation lately around #cookie #deprecation. As MarTech practitioners, we started working a long time ago to prepare for the upcoming cookie deprecation. However, from a product manager's standpoint, I think the picture is not entirely clear yet. Here is a short #checklist of questions. By answering these questions, you can decide if you should be concerned about cookie deprecation and discuss the remediation journey with the MarTech lead in your organization: 1️⃣ Are you relying on digital channels for revenue generation and sales of your products? 2️⃣ Do you leverage remarketing/retargeting campaigns to improve the efficiency of your media buying? 3️⃣ Are you relying on a granular view of digital analytics, such as different journey analysis for customers/prospects and new versus returning customers? 4️⃣ Are you customizing your website experience for different types of visitors (e.g., showing different offers for new versus existing customers)? 5️⃣ Are you using intermediate/advanced segment targeting for your paid media campaigns, targeting your campaigns for audiences with a high propensity to convert?
