Maria's Joyful Connection with AJ 🌟 🤼 Region 6 (Alexandria) Support Coordinator AJ's passion for his work brings laughter and smiles to those he serves. AJ is a lifelong professional wrestling fan and has made an impactful connection with his participant, Maria, because of this hobby. Since they began working together in March 2024, their bond has grown over their mutual fandom. AJ once brought a real Wrestling Championship Title to Maria's house, and she was thrilled, saying, “I thought he was going to bring a toy belt. I guess I was wrong. I am so flattered and excited to hold that World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Title. It was one of the best things that could have happened to me.” AJ's dedication to creating cherished memories for individuals with developmental disabilities exemplifies the spirit of Disability Pride Month. His efforts highlight the importance of making meaningful connections and bringing joy to others' lives. #DisabilityPride #InclusionMatters #EastersealsLouisiana #WrestlingFans #CreatingMemories

Introducing My Passion Project: Black Girl Wrestling! While my professional journey is deeply rooted in the exhilarating world of motorsports, my heart has always held a special place for the vibrant and captivating realm of professional wrestling as well!. Today, I'm thrilled to share something very close to my heart - my passion project, Black Girl Wrestling. Wrestling has the power to tell stories, inspire audiences, and bring people together, yet the voices and experiences of Black women have been significantly underrepresented. Together with my sisters, Allison Levingston and Brittney Levingston we've embarked on a mission to address the lack of diversity and inclusion in wrestling media. It's not just about creating content; it's about amplifying voices and stories that deserve to be heard. Born from a desire to see more diversity and representation in the world of sports media, Black Girl Wrestling is working to create a platform that not only showcases the talent and stories of Black female wrestlers but also fosters a community where everyone feels seen and heard. While diving into this project, I've realized the importance of expanding my skill set beyond my comfort zone. So, I've been honing my website design skills. Admittedly, I'm still a novice, but I firmly believe in the power of continuous self-improvement. It's a journey of growth, and I'm eager to learn and evolve along the way. I'm excited to invite you to check out our website at https://lnkd.in/g4pcrAPp. It's a labor of love ( quite clearly a work in progress) aimed at celebrating diversity and empowering underrepresented voices in wrestling. Your support means the world to us, whether it's through sharing our content, offering feedback, or simply cheering us on from the sidelines. Together, let's make strides towards a more inclusive and equitable sports media landscape. Thank you for joining us on this journey! #BlackGirlWrestling #DiversityInSports #RepresentationMatters #PassionProject

Life is a scramble, wrestling helps you stay on top! As we struggle with the day to day of life it can be challenging to feel patriotic, feel valued, feel motivated to win, and that is okay to feel. Now that those feelings have surfaced, we have to do our part and acknowledge them and use our critical thinking and resources to achieve the goals we have in life in spite of those feelings. So, when someone comes along with a cause or event that you want to support, but those resources are dwindling for your day-to-day needs, it seems impossible, but support takes on many forms. Believe me, the athletes trying to train, work 50+ hours per week, be fathers, and chase dreams aren’t without their battles. As wrestlers we get into scrambling situations where sometimes we lose position and fail. In fact, as wrestlers, we perfectly understand failing is part of the game. However, as all Americans we continue to compete from whistle to whistle and challenge the will of others. In essence, support if you can, support by sharing our message, our dream, and our goals with those who can help get us there to do our part, scramble, fight, and kick-ass for you! This isn’t the Maui fund, this isn’t the Mega Rich or remotely wealthy asking for your hard earned cash, these guys are savages from the streets of Tucson and Casa Grande who continue to fight for their communities and America. Father of Seven | Sales Leadership and Executive Coach. | Connector | Scaling Businesses | Driving Revenue | Building Teams | Process Development | Executive Consulting |
What is your intent? When I took my 8 yo son to wrestling today the coach started talking. It would be easy for him to just go through the motions. There were at least 80 8-10 year olds squirming and talking etc. Instead he asked these little future champions this question. “What is your intent?” After a brief discussion he got something approaching a consensus. Then they went to work. Working towards that stated intent. How often do I start my day or a conversation or on my way home without any concious intent? Too often. What is your intent? #legacycenterwrestling
