Today I read an insightful piece by Kara Aurendel on the transformative use of ESSER funds across the nation. From bolstering math and literacy skills to enhancing school culture and providing crucial social-emotional support for students, these federal funds have been a lifeline during the pandemic’s toughest times. Aurendel discusses the critical next steps: ensuring these gains aren’t short-lived post-funding. With strategic leadership and data-driven decision-making, some districts are already charting paths to preserve and build on these advancements. I believe it is imperative that all educational leaders plan proactively for the future, keeping the needs of educators, parents, and students at the forefront. Wha’ts happening in your community? Are there plans in place to continue these beneficial programs and practices? LEt’s share and learn from each other’s strategies for sustained success. #ESSERFunds #Studentsupport #Sustainedimpact https://lnkd.in/gGPhkjsY
