We understand there has been frustration over this product because it was out of stock for so long... Now, some of you are wary of trying it, out of fear that you'll love it, only for us to be out of it again... We will always share transparently with you, because as consumers ourselves, we'd want this. First, the good news: Oyster-Min is back for good. But let's walk through how we got here... Our first issue was sourcing oyster powder itself. We have strict standards for quality, and we third-party test the powder sample before we even accept a supplier. We had to go through many different suppliers before we found one that met our high standards. Even now, we are still continuing to vet new suppliers so that we can maintain a continuous supply, without fear of ever running out again. Our second issue was our encapsulator machine. It stopped working consistently in the fall, right in the middle of our busy season. We had multiple people and techs come out and try to fix this machine. Every time we thought we had fixed it, we realized there was another issue! A lot of people put a lot of time and effort into this. Ultimately, we decided that machine was not going to suit our needs long-term and decided to purchase a brand-new machine. At the same time, we were hiring new people in our production department and getting them trained so there would always be someone to run the machine. It was a bit of a perfect storm, and it also left us frustrated because we want to bring you the products you know and love, and we understand how big of a deficit there is when you can't access them. We are happy to say that those challenges are now behind us, and Oyster-Min is well-stocked, equipped, and ready for you all. If you have any questions, please feel free to reply to this email.
