A well-executed preconstruction process helps anticipate and strategically mitigate challenges. Our design partner on this Second Presbyterian project shared: “Working only with a Letter of Intent from the church, Charles C. Brandt Construction has been very helpful in working with our Architect-Owner team to identify areas of potential cost savings prior to signing an Owner-Contractor agreement. They were able to identify a larger list of potential cost savings items than were necessary, but this allowed the church to choose only the items they were comfortable with.
