Key to personalizing your emails: Find the “Why” Why them? And why now? Talking about their dog and their recent trip does personalize your emails, but usually it doesn’t work. (no relevancy) To answer the ‘why’ you can build a list of sales triggers so you can find companies that are DOING something where a problem comes up which you solve. Example: For a recruitment agency reaching out for client acquisition- Why them? Because you saw job-openings in multiple depts. Why now? Because the roles haven’t been filled for over 3 weeks This helps with two things: -tells them that you’ve done the research -forces them to think about the specific problem #emailsninja out.

A sales endemic no one is talking about? Cold e-mail fatigue. It's estimated that Hiring Managers, HR, Talent and Directors get roughly 3,812,120 cold e-mails a day from recruitment agencies in the UK. Many of these cold emails just clog the arteries of your inbox or perhaps into a "annoying pesky recruiter" folder never to be seen again. What is the point of these e-mails I hear literally no one ask? Well, it's to get people on to calls to discuss their pain points and problems, with the hope that the sender (aka me) can provide a solution.
