…and it’s Friday. *pauses notifications on Slack* The good news? Field-level data lineage can help you assess the impact of that broken pipeline (when you’re done with lunch, of course 😉). See how: https://lnkd.in/dHQ4Bsdb #dataengineering #dataengineers #dataquality

./run .sh airflow A complaint I've heard from people is that some tools are too hard to set up and get going in your local environment. When you look at the "Quickstart" page of these tools, you will often find it is not a quick start at all! Just call it "Start". I've just added the big 4 job orchestration tools (Airflow Summit, Mage, Dagster and Prefect) to insta-infra and have gone through the pain of the "Quickstart" for you. Now, you are just one command away from running all of them on your local laptop: ./run .sh airflow mage-ai dagster prefect

One to watch in the data space👇 🗑️You want to solve the garbage in garbage out problem so you can build good analytics, ml models, and apply generative ai? Great 🙌 You’ll have to get the data consumers and data producers (largely software teams) communicating. Manual is a good starting point, but it doesn’t scale. For that you need tooling - can’t wait to see what Gable builds so we don’t have to build it all from scratch ourselves.
Big announcement: I'm starting a company! My co-founders and I have raised $7M to build a data collaboration, communication, and change management platform that uses data contracts to scale data quality. Check out the website at: https://www.gable.ai/ This has all been possible due to the overwhelming support for data contracts on LinkedIn, Substack, and Data Quality Camp Slack. Thank you to everyone who I've worked with, people who left comments and argued with me, or the amazing folks I spent time talking to about data contracts, data quality, and providing trust at scale. What started as my co-founders and I looking to fix a head-scratching data quality issue at Convoy resulted in us stumbling on a much bigger problem: Software engineers and data teams weren't connected. I’ve met with over 1000 data practitioners to validate this idea and kept coming to the same conclusion: the data industry needs data contracts to bridge the gap between data producers and data consumers. Our MVP is already in the hands of our design partners, and we are now opening up our beta waitlist for companies interested in using the platform. If you're interested in getting a sneak peek or being an early partner, sign up on the website or shoot me a LinkedIn DM! I want to give a huge thank you to everyone who's supported me on this mission. There are too many to name, but you know who you are. Here's to the next big adventure!

Road to being a great Data Alchemist Just wrapped up another project! This time, I delved into orchestration with Airflow and tackled transformation and checks using dbt, all while integrating the powerful Snowflake for enhanced data handling. Go check it on Github: https://lnkd.in/eKGdy4PD Excited to see where this data alchemy journey takes me next. On to the next project! Maybe MLOps ?? Feel free to contact me!!!!!! #ELT #dbt #Airflow #Snowflake #Docker #Data #DataEngineering #DataOps #ETL #DataProject #Git #Github #MLOps

Happy New Year Folks! A fresh start, a fresh chapter, a Leap year and the first day of the year is a Monday. Kinda refreshing, isn't it? I don't know but there is something very satisfying about 01 Jan on a Monday. That, when combined with something Shriram R sir mentioned in one of his motivating emails, Start Small. Break down your targets into smaller parts. Keeping all that in mind, I am starting a second series of #ImpactBigByStartingSmall by starting #11DaysOfStack 🚀 I will use these 11 days to improve my skills on this particular Data Structure. #GVishwanathanChallenge #shriramsr #ImpactBigByStartingSmall #11DaysOfStack #Stacks #DataStructures
