Before undergoing a fit test, it is important to make a few preparations to ensure the process goes smootly: - Bring some form of photographic ID with you. - You must be clean-shaven within the last 8 hours within the area of the mask seal. - Don't eat, drink (excluding plain water), chew gum, smoke, or vape within 30 minutes of your fit test. - Remove any make-up within the mask seal & have long hair tied back. - Bring your glasses with you if you wear them with your mask. - Bring any head worn personal protective equipment (PPE) with you that you would normally wear with the mask.
