📚 I am currently reading Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt for our faculty summer reading, and it’s truly eye-opening. 📖 If you are a member of Generation Z or work with Gen Z individuals, I highly recommend adding this book to your summer reading list. It offers invaluable insights into understanding and supporting this dynamic generation. #SummerReading #GenZ #FacultyReading #Education
Hi Branden, I think my music video will be helpful to you as you bring this topic to your Gen Z students. There's an educator's guide and more: https://youtu.be/y8reZyT25xA -Lea
I think this is one of the most important books anyone has written in a while with regards to the current situation unfolding in front of us daily.
I, too, think the book is great, however, I wonder what books we are also reading to present different perspectives on this topic? I fear we are taking one perspective on this and running with it, which is quite the opposite of what we teach our students to do. Any suggestions out there? I offer one: “Digital for Good” by Richard Culatta. Any others?
This book was a huge inspiration for the project I have been working on. We hope that a lot of people will be inspired to go against the current trend of seeing our young generation's mental health and attention span as just another commodity they can profit off of.
Jonathan Haidt I absolutely agree. This book really hit hard having two grandchildren that are 14 & 12 right now. The content is well written and eye opening. I ordered copies for all my children.
