Our SVP CT team had the opportunity to be part of the Norwalk ACTS Grad2Careers event last week and are so invigorated by the impact on young people. Starting from 9th grade, students are exposed to viable options for training and career pathways in high demand sectors like healthcare, logistics, and IT. Hundreds of young people have secured employment, leading to higher median income. We were inspired by meaningful collaboration between nonprofits, public schools, higher education, employers and philanthropy. Thank you to Norwalk ACTS and to the 10+ people who traveled from Baltimore to lead this invigorating session!

Gov. Ned Lamont appoints #NCCULaw alumna Sharon Skyers-Jenkins ‘93 as a judge for the Connecticut Superior Court. Skyers is a managing partner at Skyers, Skyers and Harrell, LLC, which she co-founded. Her practice focuses on personal injury cases and commercial and residential real estate transactions.
