STUDENT STORY OF LIFE AFTER SEXUAL ASSAULT A great article about how Temple University's support for sexual assault awareness initiatives helped one survivor find her place in the community and progress in her healing. Article Quote: "Advocacy allowed me a healthy outlet for my complex feelings.... Because sexual assault is so intertwined with my life and how I move through it, I owe it to myself to take up space and speak up about my experience." IMPORTANT RESOURCE - Women's Advocacy Initiative Women's Advocacy Initiative is a great nonprofit organization more schools and survivors should know about. #WAI provides a community and opportunity for survivors to progress in their healing through personal storytelling. #WAI founder, Sheerin Gryloo, says, "There is no greater force than the power of your own story."
