AN ALL ARMY WEDDING ON BASE - MAZAL TOV What do you do when the bride and groom are soldiers and their friends can’t leave base to come to your wedding? You bring the wedding to the base!!! Mazal tov to this IDF couple. Even in wartime we can rejoice. The nation of Israel lives!

WE MOURN IDF reservist Valery Chaponov, a husband and father of two young children, was killed in a Hezbollah drone attack on northern Israel. May God comfort the Chaponov family among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

GET YOUR TISSUES READY Ari Shpitz was severely injured while fighting Hamas in Gaza. The army doctors thought he had no chance to live. He was unconscious for two months and to save his life, doctors had to amputate both of his legs and his right hand. When Ari woke up, he told his mother, “If my mind is working I am going to be okay.” Ari’s study partner in yeshiva, Itai, was also seriously injured in the same incident in Gaza. Thank God Itai also survived and got married yesterday. WATCH as Ari wheels his way up to say one of the blessings at Itai’s wedding ceremony… The nation of Israel lives!

A HOSTAGE BECOMES A TOP SOLDIER Noga Weiss, 18, was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists from her home in Kibbutz Be’eri on October 7. Her father, Ilan, was murdered by the Hamas terrorists that day. She was released after 50 days in captivity. Noga decided to enlist in the IDF and has now graduated her training course “with excellence.” She explains: “I decided to enlist to strive for victory for me and a victory against our enemies. Today I feel like I have won! I look forward to what is coming ahead.” Congratulations Noga. You are a source of great inspiration to us all.

YOU MUST HEAR WHAT AN INJURED IDF SOLDIER ASKED A rabbi went to visit a severely injured IDF soldier. The soldier asked the rabbi questions about he should practice Jeiwsh rituals given his new reality. WATCH and see for yourself. Our soldiers are such special people!

WE MOURN AND WE MUST TAKE ACTION Israeli forces killed a Hezbollah terrorist murderer yesterday in a targeted attack. In response, the terror organization fired 40 missiles into Israel, hoping to kill as many Israeli civilians as possible. At that moment, Noa and Nir Baranes, 46-year-old parents of three teenage children, were simply driving to their home in the Golan Heights together. One of the Hezbollah missiles hit their moving car, instantly murdering both of them. Two value centered, contributing to the good of society and the world people are gone. Three teenagers are now orphans. No country can allow for missiles to be fired aimlessly into its civilian areas. Israel must act and it must act decisively. May the Barnes family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

WE MOURN IDF commando Tal Lahat, 21, was killed while fighting Hamas in Gaza. We have now lost 327 soldiers in the ground operation in Gaza. May God comfort the Lahat family among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

FAITH IN OUR REDEMPTION REMAINS STRONG The Jewish people were exiled from the Land of Israel (“Palestine”) by the Romans 2,000 years ago. For 2,000 years we have believed in the message of this song: “I believe with complete faith in the coming of the Messiah. And although he may tarry, nevertheless, I wait every day for him to come.” These words were said and sung by our people during inquisitions, pogroms, massacres, and the Holocaust. We have now returned home - a major step in the Messianic process. And these Hasidim came to the Kotel at midnight with their Rebbe, to sing these same words - in Jerusalem, our eternal capital, at the base of the holiest site in Judaism, the Temple Mount. WATCH to see and hear for yourselves. It is a hard, challenging, and painful time. But our faith - as expressed by this song being sung at this time - will get us through, lead us to victory, and ultimately to the Final Redemption. Amen.
