This moment at each IEI convening, when we transition from one 1:1 meeting to the next, has evolved from being the most stressful five minutes of my year to chill vibes. That’s the result of institutional knowledge, intentional culture building, and our homegrown software, 1:1 Connect. An honor to work with Alexandra Meis, Tom Clarke, and u2i.

7 years ago, I asked my friend, Clayton, if he’d make time to come to this new conference I was starting. He was then the supe in Charlotte-Meck. His willingness to jump into our work gave me momentum that turned into IEI. Today he stood at our podium and shared about the work we’re doing together to support superintendents and educational leaders in our effort to help decrease the high turnover rates in district leadership. It’s an honor to work with Dr. Clayton M. Wilcox.
