This month, The Durst Organization moved into our new corporate office at 1155 Avenue of the Americas. 1155 went from 53% leased in 2019 to 93% leased today thanks to a $130 million repositioning and the draw of being in the Bryant Park neighborhood. We built 1155 with chamfered corner windows because the original anchor tenant needed corner offices for every partner at their firm. The chamfered corners gave us eight corner offices per floor. Today, the corners are modernized with floor to ceiling glass, the building has a new lobby, outdoor terraces, and is certified LEED Gold. Over the decades, the lesson is the same: respond to the needs of tenants and continually invest in and modernize our buildings. Thank you to everyone who made 1155 look and feel like a new building.
