A game-changer stat here for brands and agencies about the growing influence of the Creativebrief platform. This one surprised even me if I’m honest. We have looked into data with regards to the 400+ UK agency appointments by brands in 2023 that were reported openly in the marketing press. Of those brands, more than 20% viewed (on average) over 50 pages of content on our platform in a 6 month window leading-up to their review. That means increasingly knowledgeable marketers, confident enough to act alone and contact agencies direct - often not running full ‘pitches’ as a result. If that’s not a powerful example of an ‘intermediary’ disintermediating the client/agency review process through technology, then tell me what is?! In our view, this is just the start, as technology will go on to play a more fundamental role now in driving positive change in pitching for the future. One day, maybe (just maybe!), killing it off altogether and showing us all a much smarter way. Watch this space. 👀🤞
