Absolutely! I am always blown away by how much the post click user experience is ignored! At bare minimum the landing page should be completely relevant to the ad copy, and status quo should be personalized content based on (at minimum) some generic OOTB user profiles. Users that enter via paid media are already on a different path than an organic or direct user. Why would you treat them the same? #unscrew #onesizefitsall

It's not that the ad platforms are evil or anything. No, they are more like frenemies. You know, that person connected to your group of friends you are not a fan of, but you tolerate because you want to keep the peace and be with your friends. The advertising platforms are necessary but don't have your best interests at heart. They cost you a lot of money and they always want more. Always. I know it because I know your costs have gone up.
