Read on to learn more about Joe: 👏🎉 🚚 How long have you been with Bay & Bay? • I’ve been with Bay & Bay Since January 2021, so over 3 years. 🚚 What drew you to the transportation industry? • The fast paced environment that keeps me engaged in my work all-day. It can be stressful at times, but I’ve learned I operate well on a time crunch. 🚚 What position did you start in, and how did that help you to get to where you are now? • I started out as a CSA. I was promoted to CSA2, and then to CSR two years ago. My time as a CSA helped me learn the basics, which I’ve been able to build on as a CSR. I had great managers when I started, and I learned a lot shadowing more experienced team members. 🚚 What do you enjoy most about Bay & Bay? • The company culture. 🚚 What do you like to do outside of work? • Golf, working out, hanging with friends, and video games.

Do you show appreciation for your colleagues? 🤔 Let us introduce you to our Star Wall 👀🌟 In our office, we try to make sure that we're showing our appreciation for one another, and the hard-work that we all put in everyday. Whether it's outstanding work put into a specific project, being a team player and helping a different department with a task, or simply showing up to work with a smile on your face; we want to hear about it all! We believe that's it is important for colleagues to show appreciation for one-another, hence why we've provided a way in which this appreciation can be expressed for everyone to see. A: A real sense of family spirit and a positive culture amongst the team.  Q: What do you like to do when you are not at work? A: I enjoy family time, playing and watching sports. My passion is Formula One motor racing.    Q: Share an interesting fact about something yourself. A: I once played Jimmy' The Whirlwind' White in a snooker match. I didn't win.  This is why I am at Aramark!! I honestly didn't know companies like this still existed - Grateful to be a part of the team. My team provides a positive work environment which is essential for employee well-being and productivity. Here are some characteristics that contribute to a great work environment: 1. Productive Atmosphere: A calm and focused atmosphere leads to greater productivity. 2. Open and Honest Communication: Clear communication between team members fosters collaboration and understanding. 3. Compassionate Team Members: Supportive colleagues who show empathy 4. and kindness create a positive environment. 5. My insights on LinkedIn activity will be sky high this week considering I rarely update my social media. Today was a heavy hearted day as I signed off one last time at Taulia. The last 6 years has shown me tremendous growth. My key takeaways are: 🙌 Recognition - give it all the time because you never know when “I’ll do it next time” becomes “it’s too late.” 🌮 I’d like to think my answer to the interview question at Taulia on if I had celebrated National Taco Day that week was “It’s Taco Day everyday in my life” is what got me the job. 😎 Be cool and collective. Working in HR is hard but parallel parking is also hard and we either learn to do it or drive around until you find an easier parking spot. 🐯Although losing my job may seem like a down moment, the positive way I look at it is getting to spend more time with my baby and to learn how to be young again. 🍩 ‘Donut’ dwell on what you cannot control. 🍪 C is for cookie and that’s good enough for me. People have been asking what I’m up to next or where I’m going. And the answer is I’m going to bake pies and holiday cookies while looking for another adventure. Whatever company is willing to take chance on me next is in for a treat! (Or just a slice of pie) #opentowork #workingmom #stayathomemom #motivation

You know what's pretty cool? Strong leadership that recognises leadership potential, and lifts you up. I'm two weeks into a brand new journey. New environments are scary. Meeting new people is daunting. I've had a lot of change over my twenty something years and sometimes I feel like it never gets easier. But this incredible pool of talent known as Battenhall gave me a platform from the first day I walked through the door... and they've taught me something👇 When you start a new job, don't try to prove your worth. Shake off the pressure to be confident and to be seen. Your value isn't in your status as the new talent as that will expire. It's in your authenticity.
